AEGIS Protective Services is a specialist provider of Healthcare Security Officer Training in the UK, delivering risk-informed, evidence-based programmes that support safe, lawful, and professional practice in NHS environments.

Our approach is built on one principle: training must stand up to scrutiny.

Healthcare Security Officers operate in complex, high-risk environments where decisions carry legal, clinical, and organisational consequences. In this context, training must be structured, measurable, and defensible.

Our training courses set the professional training standards for Healthcare Security Officers and are designed to provide not just knowledge – but assurance.

Through standardised online assessment, verifiable training records, and nationally consistent certification, we help organisations demonstrate competence, governance, and due diligence.

This ensures:

  • Consistency in knowledge and decision-making across teams and sites
  • Verifiable evidence of competence for every individual
  • Robust audit trails to support governance, assurance, and accountability.

Because in healthcare security, when decisions are challenged, it’s not just what staff are taught that counts. It’s what can be proven.
