CJIA TRAINING PACK – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

General

These Terms and Conditions shall govern the Contract between the Seller (AEGIS) and the Buyer to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions.

No variations to these Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing between the authorised representatives of the Buyer and Supplier.

English law shall govern the Contract and the parties to it agree to submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Any notice required or permitted to be given by either party to the other under these Conditions shall be in writing addressed to that other party at its registered office or primary place of business or such other address as may, at the relevant time, have been notified pursuant to this provision to the party giving the notice.

No waiver by the Supplier or any breach of the Contract by the Buyer shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.

If any provision of these Conditions is held by a competent authority to be in whole or, in part, invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the provisions of these conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.

Warranties and Liability

The Goods and Services forming part of the CJIA TRAINING PACK order are supplied licence free and without warranty or guarantee of any kind.

The Buyer acknowledges that the Supplier shall have no liability with regards to the future use or interpretation of any Goods and Services provided to the Buyer or to any company organisation or individual.

Any advice given by the Supplier or its employees or agents to the Buyer or its employees or agents as to the suitability, fitness for any purpose, application or use of the Goods and Services is intended for guidance only and is followed or acted upon entirely at the Buyer’s own risk. Accordingly, the Supplier shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation.

Restrictions on use

The Buyer can copy, reproduce and create derivative works from the Goods and Services supplied with the CJIA TRAINING PACK order and also impart knowledge from them, or any part of them, to others, but may not resell them.

Payment and Registration

Payment in full is required before the Buyer can access the CJIA TRAINING PACK Materials.

Before making payment, if they are not already registered, the Buyer is required to ‘Register’.

The Registration Process is a free service that requires the Buyer to provide their:

  1. Name
  2. E-mail address

When the Buyer completes the Online Registration Process, the Supplier will send an email to the email address provided by the Buyer confirming successful Registration.

Upon Registering, the Buyer can then make Payment.

Online Payment is via PayPal and is subject to PayPal’s Terms & Conditions, including the PayPal Buyer Protection arrangements (Clause 13).

Accessing the CJIA TRAINING PACK Materials

Once payment is made, the Supplier will send another email to the Buyer accepting or refusing the Buyer’s Order. The Buyer reserves the right to decline Order’s at their sole discretion.

Where the Buyer’s Order is accepted, the Supplier’s email will confirm that the Buyer has immediate online access to the CJIA TRAINING PACK Materials and also detail the Log In process to follow.

Downloading the files

It is the responsibility of the Buyer to, without delay, download the files their own computer or hard drive.

Downloading the CJIA TRAINING PACK files is a simple process.

Once download has taken place, the Seller reserves the right to restrict further access to the files.

The Term

The Buyer must download the CJIA TRAINING PACK Materials within 14 days following Payment.

Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the nature of the CJIA TRAINING PACK Materials, cancellation of the order cannot be permitted once they have been accessed by the Buyer and no refunds shall be payable. However, the Supplier will always give due consideration to any extenuating circumstances and at their discretion may refund any Payment received either in full or in part. Advice about the legal right to cancel a contract is available from local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards offices.

Agreement

By making Payment at the point of sale the ‘Buyer’ accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
